This is a great solution so you can avoid paying excessive cable fees. The installation is simple, there are a couple of simple plugs and then it is ready to be used. You need to make sure you set your TV to accept the antenna and scan for channels.
Why pay for regular channels? I am super pleased with this TV antenna. I stuck it on the window as suggested and I get every single free view channel and all the HD channels.
When we installed this indoors we got over 150 channels which is immensely more that what we had expected from other reviews.
No more paying for cable TV! I get over 50 channels and use it to play shows for the kids. Great deal.
It improved the quality of reception. However, I have not installed it in its permanant place. Works good!
Best antenna for outdoors. Just remember to download an app that tells you where to towers are . Once you figure it out it works better .
Big Boss Tom
Works great get local channels plus others about 35 with only a couple not viewable with antenna in a fixed location in the attic
It was very easy to assemble and has excellent picture quality. It also gets a surprising amount of channels in my area when installed high. I'm very happy with it.
Bought this to lower our monthly data use. The picture quality is actually better than what we get on cable. I've heard that before, but wasn't sure it was true. It is for us.
It's an antenna, nothing too exciting. Picking up most of my local channels just fine (our towers are split between two locations so it can be challenging). Took a little time to assemble but overall fairly clear instructions.
I put the antenna in our attic and connected it to the TV through the line used by the cable company. It works very well but is a minor pain to assemble.
This is antenna was easy to install, is super durable. The picture quality is amazing. I get a ton of channels with it that I didnt get before. I recommend this to anyone looking for more channels, durability and easy installation.
This antenna works so much better than the 150 mile (ha ha) antenna it replaced; I was getting choppy images, no signal at times. The transmitting antennas are located at 71-75 miles and the five tv signal strenght bars are between 3 and 5.
I'm very pleased with this antenna. I'm about 40 miles from the TV towers and I get over 110 channels even without a booster.
If you live way out in the country in rural areas a higher gain antenna with a much longer boom and more elements would be necessary.
I live north/west of DC where I have had issues with reception. So I installed this in my garage ceiling with a amplifier. I was able to receive 47 stations to my surprise. I am very happy to end my cable TV contract.
I disconnected my cable service and installed this antenna through the cable wires and it worked on three screens at home. I thought there would be a drop in quality or something but no. I should mention I do live in south texas where it is flat, so no mountains or tall trees get in the way.
I cut the cord and only have over the air TV now. This works great in the Phoenix area.
This antenna pulled in the same amount of fringe channels as an 8 sectioned bowtie configuration measuring 4x the size. While not quite as strong as the biggest antennas, if you are 30 -40 miles out and not surrounded by trees and buildings, you will likely get all the available channels.
